Make it simple and stupid
Let’s be real: if you’re not a scientist, science is kinda boring. If we want people to understand what climate change is and why it’s urgent, we need to give people frames that are relatable, entertaining, and non-polarizing. Like, with cartoon analogies.
99% of Experts Agree
There is total consensus amongst scientists on the facts about climate change. Yet only 25% of people know this! We wanted to make a piece of content that could help people understand this is not a debate, it’s settled science and it’s time to address it. So we ripped a cartoon man’s arms off.
Dutch Oven
“CO2 emissions,” “net zero,” “energy balance” - the terms climate people use to explain the phenomenon of heat-trapping pollution are not intuitive. We wanted to explain the science of climate change in ways non-scientist moms could understand. And there’s really nothing more universal than the dreaded dutch oven.
